Here I am back at the B&B with day one under by belt. 4hrs 54mins of the muddiest, hilliest, windiest 26.2 miles I've ever experienced. I'm in one piece after having a beasting in the massage tent. All was going well until the magic 20 mile marker. After that i was shuffling like an old granny. I checked the leaderboard and I'm 19th. Not bad as i think there are well over 200 taking part. Not sure if i can hang on in that high up the final standings, but its giving me something to try and focus on!
